Staying with Houssine and his family was a gret experience that we are not going to forget. We felt as home 🙂 Houssine himself is very caring honest person that can stand for his guests. So you can trust him. We had lot of fun together. Šukran for everything you had done for us. Walking around Meknes, Volubilis, Moulay Idris was great, food at home and coffee on that terrace as well 🙂 Thanks a lot we really has a cultural experience with this staying. Hope to see you again 🙂

Sometimes you surf with someone and it’s fine and comfortable. Sometimes you even become friends, and it’s fun. And every once in a while, life brings you a special experience with someone where you feel you’ve become an important part of each other’s lives. Sitting around the table, sharing couscous with Houssine, his sister and her family, is exactly that sort of experience. Hope to see you again some day, my friend, inshallah.

It’s only after meeting him, I realized that all the super positive references he got before were not exaggerating at all! This guy is plainly amazing in every aspect and he also possesses some “superpower” too….!
He hosted me during Ramadan, but even he was dehydrating and starving, he still showed me around Volubilis under over 40 degree Celsius. He always carried a big smile on his face, saying “it’s ok.”, no matter how hard it actually was. I feel soooooo gratitude!
Houssine, I hope you can get what you are looking for in the nearest future! I highly recommend this guy as a host or a guest! It will be a shame if you miss him!

I stayed with Houssine and his family as he invited me to go to Meknès. With them I went to do unexpected things like going to buy a kind of motorbike, trying the new vehicle in the outskirts of the city… And of course Hossine took me to the touristic places and his cousin Yassine to Volubilis and Moulay Driss. I spend some days where I could relax in Morocco as Meknès is a very calm and small city withouth the stress of cities like Fès or Marrakech.
Advices: 1) there are no western facilities in the house. 2) avoid touching the boring religion topic 3) forget about doing things quickly, in this city and especially with this family everythings happens slowly, the same way as good tajine is done: slowly and with love, so plan ahead to stay more days than you inteded, in fact, they will be happy if you stay more.

Housinne really is a superhost! Even though he has a disability on his leg, he is extremely positive and optimistic, full of energy and a source of information and jokes. He is very entertaining and funny but can be serious as well. In fact you don’t even notice that he is handicapped as he took me on a walking tour in Meknes and the next day even to Volubilis and Moulay Idriss.
Also his family is superfriendly and hospitable and his sister Baha can cook the most delicous Moroccan meals you will ever taste! I immediately felt at home with Houssine and his family and will never forget the great time I spend with them in Meknes. I hope I will have a chance to meet them again soon!
I highly recommend him as a host for Meknes or as a surfer. Wherever you will find him, you will surely have an unforgettable time!

What can I say about this guy? I LOVE HIM, that’s what! He made my stay in Morocco sooo awesome! I knew no one there and he welcomed me into his family’s home without any hesitation. He was a great host and travel buddy and I highly recommend Houssine to any travelers out there 🙂 🙂 🙂 Cheers, man. You’re the best!!

I’ve traveled all over Morocco and gone on a lot of tours but only a few guides really stand out: one of them is Houssaine, the disabled tourist guide. He goes above and beyond his call of duties to give you an amazing time and inspired us to look at Morocco through fresh eyes. He really looks after you. He does not take commission! In a country where this is almost normal and can waste you lots of time you’ll be pleased he doesn’t. His transparent service will, easily, save you money and stop the need for you worrying about finances. To me that’s very important and Houssaine helped make purchases for my friends when I left for home on my last visit as he negotiated the lowest prices he could for rugs and jewelry. He really knows his stuff and will do the bargaining for you, or at least keep an eye on you when you are trying to do it yourself! It is a pleasure to write a short testimonial for him to put on his website.

I first met Houssaine through couchsurfing. Indeed he was the next link in the chain that took three couchsurfers from me who I had staying in my apartment in Ifrane. Thus before I met him I had heard from them of the kindness that he extended in letting them stay in Kinifra with him, and then how he helped them on their trip to the desert and on to the coast. They had a fantastic time thanks to Houssaine’s local knowledge and Moroccan guiding skills and I understand from them that he hardly let them spend any money at all! Houssaine came to stay with me on a trip later to Ifrane and he is a gentleman of the highest order and I wish him success in his guiding business. He comes highly recommended!
